Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation

Year of Establishment: 2014

Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation promotes disability inclusion and empowerment through adaptive sports and adventure activities. The Organisation aims to create shared experiences for people with and without disabilities while raising awareness and challenging social stereotypes about disability.

Sense International (India)

Year of Establishment: 1997

Sense International (India) works to empower children and adults with deafblindness and multiple disabilities, enabling them to overcome challenges and participate actively in society. The Organisation provides educational, vocational, and rehabilitative support, along with training for caregivers and professionals, to improve the inclusion and independence of people with complex disabilities.

Centre for Equity and Quality in Universal Education (CEQUE)

Year of Establishment: 2012

CEQUE envisions a world where every child receives a quality education. Its flagship Teacher Innovator Program (TIP) trains teachers to adopt innovative teaching methods, helping students develop 21st-century skills like inquiry, reasoning, critical thinking, and collaboration. TIP aligns with SDG#4 on Quality Education, promoting inclusive and equitable learning opportunities. CEQUE operates in Maharashtra (6 districts), Madhya Pradesh (2 districts), and Karnataka (1 district), reaching 2,737 teachers and 48,500 students in 2023-24.

HELP Foundation

Year of Establishment: 1997

HELP Foundation works to improve the lives of distressed women and children in Jammu & Kashmir through education, mental health support, livelihood initiatives, and healthcare. The NGO has reached over 30,000 children and 16,000 women, providing rehabilitation, cash assistance, and medical aid to underprivileged communities in the region.

Headstreams

Year of Establishment: 2008

Headstreams works with children, adolescents, youth, and women from under-resourced communities to improve learning and livelihood outcomes. The Organisation promotes play-based learning, employability and life-skills training, and women’s entrepreneurship, fostering confidence, creativity, and social productivity among its beneficiaries.

Mobility India is a registered society dedicated to enabling, empowering, and including people with disabilities. Akshara Foundation is a public charitable trust dedicated to ensuring quality education for every child. The Association of People with Disability (APD)

Year of Establishment: 1959

APD is a voluntary registered society dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities to become active contributors in society. The Organisation runs programs across rural and urban Karnataka, providing education, therapy, vocational training, and employment support to children and adults with various disabilities, prioritising those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Through its work, APD has impacted more than 600,000 lives.

Diya Foundation

Diya Foundation is a vocational training centre focused on empowering adults with intellectual challenges. The Organisation helps individuals become self-reliant by identifying their strengths and interests and providing opportunities to develop skills and work accordingly.

Veer Ratna Foundation

Year of Establishment: 2007

Veer Ratna Foundation (formerly Vasantharatna Foundation) is a public charitable trust based in Bangalore, dedicated to empowering and transforming the lives of families of battle casualties. Working with wives (Veer Naaris) and children of soldiers, the foundation provides support, community, and opportunities for growth to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.

Child Rights and You (CRY)

Year of Establishment: 1979

CRY is an Indian organisation committed to ensuring a happy, healthy, and creative childhood for every child. Its focus areas include access to quality education, primary healthcare, protection from violence and exploitation, reducing child malnutrition, and amplifying children’s voices in decisions that affect them.

WeLive Foundation

Year of Establishment: 2019

WeLive Foundation is dedicated to addressing the immediate needs of care leavers, young people who must leave institutional care upon turning 18. This sudden transition often leaves them unprepared for independent living, risking the progress made during their earlier care. To bridge this gap, WeLive runs specialised programs focused on well-being and work readiness, equipping care leavers with life skills, mentorship, and opportunities for holistic development.
By fostering resilience and creating a supportive ecosystem, the foundation empowers young people to navigate adulthood with confidence and independence.

Prakratik Society

Year of Establishment: 1994

Prakratik Society works towards maintaining harmony between people, wildlife, and the environment in Ranthambore.
Founded by Dr. G.S. Rathore, inspired by his father, Fateh Singh Rathore, the ‘Tigerman of India’, the NGO focuses on the sustainable development of local communities alongside tiger and wildlife conservation.
Through their multi-pronged approach- education, health care, animal husbandry and afforestation – Prakratik Society has, for over two decades, been committed to social change that is environmentally oriented and sustainable.

Sense Kaleidoscopes – A Unit of Ayathi Trust

Sense Kaleidoscopes focuses on research and design of educational and vocational art-skilling curricula for children and young adults with autism and Asperger’s syndrome in Bengaluru. Rise Against Hunger India

Altruist is a Gujarat-based organisation pioneering innovative mental health initiatives. Step Up for India

Year of Establishment: 2013

Step Up for India works to improve the quality of English education in government and resource-poor schools across India. The NGO provides structured curricula and teaching aids to enhance literacy, reading, comprehension, conversation, and writing skills among underserved children.
Step Up for India works on a curriculum that is easy to follow and enjoyable. The NGO provides a modular, structured curriculum and accompanying teaching aids that can be administered by multiple types of teaching groups ( groups of volunteers with as little as an hour per week's time commitment, or government school teachers, or students’ families). This converts disparate efforts into a deeply impactful academic program, raising literacy levels amongst children.
